How a fit works · Bike Fit Studio
From the first booking to the rider's setup
A fit in Bike Fit Studio, step by step, as the studio sees it. Every value is recorded with its reason, and the body is measured with Montis Motion, not guessed.
The app's screens here show a made-up studio and riders.
1Book and arrive
Each fitter's day, open time, bookings and walk-ins. Riders book online and get their booking confirmed by email, with a reminder the day before.

2Intake
The rider, their bike picked from the bike database, their goals, injuries and history: everything the fit starts from.

3Before: measured with Montis Motion
Markers on the bony landmarks; two phones film the rider pedalling, from the side and from behind. Every marker is tracked frame by frame: knee, hip, back, shoulder and elbow angles over each stroke, how well each dot was found, and each angle's spread.

4Knee tracking, from both cameras
Each knee's sideways travel through the stroke, read from behind and from the side together: the knee's forward-and-back movement is taken off, so what's left is the knee's own. Left and right side by side.

5Adjust, with a reason
Each change from and to, why it was made and how it felt on the bike: saddle, cleats, bars, the whole cockpit.

6After, compared with Before
Measured again. Before and after side by side, each value against the studio's own reference ranges.

7The rider's setup
When the fit is finished, the rider gets their setup by email and keeps it in My bike fits: the bike before and after, what changed and why.

Built for the fitter
Everything around the fit
From choosing the frame to the studio's own standards, in the same app.
Placing the dots
Each dot on its bone, found by touch, so Before and After are measured at the same points.

Ready in the room
The room set up once, the cameras, light and dots checked before each fit with the Studio check, so Before and After are filmed the same way.
Choosing a frame
Frames and their geometry by size, shared by every studio: compare frames and find the one that fits the rider's position.
Measure from a photo
Body measurements from a photo, to check the tape or in its place: a printed scale tag gives the millimetres, and the AI places the points.
Speak instead of typing
Say the values as you take them, in English or German; they're proposed back, and nothing is saved until the fitter accepts.
A second pair of eyes
Rules, and the AI the studio chooses, check each fit for gaps, numbers that don't fit together and differences between left and right. The fitter decides.
The studio's own standards
Every value against the studio's own reference ranges, set in its templates for each kind of riding.
Riders book online
On the studio's own page, in a free time from the fitters' calendars, confirmed by email.
Every fit, over time
A client's history on one page, and a later fit of the same bike starts where the last one left off.
The studio's figures
Fits and bookings for a day, a week, a month or a year.
The method behind it
Montis Motion™: how well it measures
Tested in the studio before any fit used it: markers, light, cameras and every angle against its own repeats, written up with its methods, results and limits.
